E-procurement

The digitisation of the Public E-procurement lifecycle is crucial to the growth of the country's economy and the modernisation of Public Administration processes.

Spatial Data

AgID supports administrations in the definition of technical rules for the information, documentation, exchange and reuse of spatial data held by public administrations, a great wealth of information that is unfortunately often fragmented.

Controlled vocabularies

They are defined in the Three-Year Plan. This is a common and shared way to organise recurring codes and nomenclatures in a standardised manner and provide a comprehensive and rigorous conceptualisation within a given domain. On this topic, AgID implemented the INSPIRE Italia Registry System.

Open Formats

AgID maintains and regularly updates a list of open formats that can be used by public administrations. These formats are digital data whose syntax, semantics, operational context and methods of use are made public through documentation. Furthermore, the XBRL standard, the editable electronic format for presenting financial statements, was also introduced.

PA Index

It is the register that contains reliable information on public administrations and public service providers.

Agency's role

The Agency for Digital Italy implements the objectives of the Italian Digital Agenda in accordance with the guidelines set by the Prime Minister or the competent Minister. It supports the digital transformation of the country and promotes the use of new technologies in public administration and in its relations with citizens and businesses.

Databases of national interest

These are reliable databases, homogeneous in type and content, and relevant for the performance of the institutional functions of public administrations and for analytical purposes. They constitute the backbone of public informative wealth.

Open Data

AgID is the national competence centre for Open Data, in line with the Government's Open Government policy.

The new Interoperability Model

The Public Administration Interoperability Model (ModI) identifies technologies and standards that public administrations must consider when implementing their IT systems. It is a cornerstone of the Three-Year Plan.

Connectivity

Connectivity comprises all services aimed at meeting the connection and interconnection needs of central and local administrations participating in the SPC (Public Connectivity System).
