The initiative is a partnership between AICS and AgID with a budget of €49.5 million and aims to promote the Italian private sector as a strategic player for the growth of the local private sector and a driving force—together with training and investment in human capital—for sustainable development and economic growth in partner countries.

AgID received 52 project proposals, with a total of more than 160 economic players involved

Phase I of the challenge kicks off: about €3 million and 8 business groupings possible winners. Deadline for applications is June 16, 2025

The 5 winning temporary consortia will receive more than EUR 2 million for the experimental development of the solution designed during Phase I
