The National Service Card (Carta Nazionale dei Servizi - CNS) is an online identification tool that allows the access to public administration services. The CNS does not contain the photo of the holder and does not require particular security requirements for the plastic badge. Complete IT correspondence between the CNS and the Electronic Identity Card (Carta d'Identità Elettronica - CIE) ensures interoperability between the two cards.
