The Agency for Digital Italy, through the activity of CERT-AGID, offers all public administrations some fundamental tools to prevent and counter cyber threats such as malware and phishing campaigns.

Of these, the most important is the Indicators of Compromise (IoC) feed. It lists and shares with requesting public administrations the data collected by CERT-AGID in its daily monitoring and prevention activities, such as IP addresses used for fraudulent activities, URLs of malicious sites, hashes of malicious files and other information on ongoing malicious campaigns.

Receiving the IoC feed means equipping your administration with a proactive and timely defence, which is essential to face the challenges of digital transformation with greater confidence.

In conjunction with the IoC feed, CERT-AGID also provides a tool designed to search for malicious files within a filesystem: this is the hashr software, recently released in a new version.

The use of hashr and the IoC feed combined significantly enhances the ability to detect cyber threats, increasing the overall security of digital infrastructures.

These two tools provided by AgID are an opportunity for administrations to improve the security of their IT systems, to comply with the indications of the 2024-2026 Three-Year IT Plan and to strengthen the resilience of the public administration.

How to get these tools

To receive the Indicators of Compromise (IoC) feed, simply fill in the accreditation form and follow the directions available on the CERT-AGID website.

You can download the Hashr software, including the User's Guide, from the dedicated page on the CERT-AGID website.
