AgID has the task of defining recommendations, strategies and technical standards to raise awareness and inform administrations about issues related to information security and connected emergencies, detection and risk analysis methodologies, as well as protection and performance measurement initiatives.
According to the organisational model envisaged by the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) of 17 February 2017 (insert link) for the protection of national security in the cyber security area, Agid and the Computer Emergency Response Team - Public Administration CERT-PA play an important role in the prevention and management of IT security incidents in the public administration.
CERT-PA operates within AgID. It is responsible for addressing all types of computer security incidents occurring within its constituency.
